A fifty year old lady was shot dead by unknown gunmen in South Kashmir’s Tral town.
Reports reaching here said that on Wednesday evening, unknown gunmen shot dead a 50-year-old woman in Noorpora village of Tral in south Kashmir.
A police official was quoted by a Srinagar based newspaper that gunmen shot dead Hameeda Bano, wife of late Ghulam Hassan Dar, in her home in Noorpora Tral.
“They barged into the house when she was alone and shot her dead. She died on the spot,” he said. “Her son was offering prayers in a nearby Masjid when gunmen entered her house,” the newspaper wrote.
The report added that the deceased is survived by two sons – Ajaz Ahmed and Danish Ahmed.
