PDP president Mehbooba Mufti, who is set to become the next chief minister of the state, Saturday evening called on Governor N N Vohra again to discuss the on-going political situation and date for oath taking ceremony.
This was Mehbooba’s second meeting with Vohra hours after she called on him with a letter of support from her party and BJP to stake claim for government formation in the state.
Sources said that Mehbooba had requested the governor for the meeting again after staking claim.
“It was a scheduled meeting which Mehbooba Mufti had requested for during the first meeting,” sources said. (KNS)
