The State Advisory Council (SAC) meeting ended this afternoon in winter capital on Monday.
J&K Governor, N N Vohra, is chaired the meeting and SAC passed the ‘Vote-on-Account’, sources said.
However, the figures of the three months budget passed for J&K government is yet to be known.
The meeting was attended by the two advisors of Vohra: Parvez Dewan and Khurshid Ahmad Ganaie, besides, Chief Secretary, Finance Commissioner and Planning Commissioner.
J&K is under governor’s rule since January 07 when former CM Mufti Mohammad Sayeed breathed his last in AIIMS, New Delhi. PDP chief, Mehbooba Mufti had refused to take over as CM, however, after she staked claim over government formation with Vohra last Saturday, the popular PDP-BJP government is expected to be in office not before April 04.
Given the annual financial procedure of J&K state, Governor Vohra is expected to pass the budget for coming three months.
Earlier, the budget meet was supposed to be held on March 15 but was deferred at last moment after hopes were raised about the government formation taking place in few days.
