As Indian cricket team faced a humiliating defeat in T2o cricket world cup late Thursday, University of Kashmir reverberated with pro-West Indies slogans.
Batting first, India had scored 192 runs in allotted 20 overs in Mumbai’s Wankhede stadium losing two wickets was crushed by West Indies which scored 196 runs in 19.4 overs. West Indies lost three wickets.
It second semi-final played of the T20 world cup. West Indies will now play England in the finals.
As soon as West Indies scripted win with winning sixer by Simmons, scores of students at University of Kashmir raised heavy pro-West Indies slogans.
