#Day85: Pellet Hit Youth Succumbs, Toll Continues To Rise

It is 85th straight day on civil uprising and the civilian death toll continues to rise.

On Saturday morning, a pellet hit injured youth was rushed to SKIMS Soura when his situation deteriorated.

Sources identified the deceased as Muzaffar Ahmad, a resident of Check-i-Kawoosa in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

The civilian death toll has shot up to ninety two in last 85 days when the anti-India uprising was triggered by the death of rebel commander Burhan Wani on July 08, 2016.

Muzaffar was shot by pellets and doctors operated his left eye several times. “He was suffering from Sepsis,” sources in SKIMS hospital said. “Doctors put him on ventilator but he lost battle of his life.”

It was not immediately known as when was Muzaffar injured and admitted to the hospital.
