SRINAGAR
Director General of Police (DGP), K Rajendra Kumar has said the Police organization has laid focus on capacity building and enhancing proficiency of cops to enable them to handle current and emerging challenges to policing, a statement issued by police from Jammu said.
“Our focus is on professional policing through capacity building of cops so that they can meet the current and emerging challenges to policing” Kumar said after inaugurating day long workshop organised by Jammu Armed Zone at Armed police headquarter here today.
State Police Chief also lauded the role of armed police in controlling the militancy and effectively dealing with the law and order problems.
