#Day112: Fire Damages Four Structures, One Person Dies In Road Accident

SRINAGAR

Four structures including a government school were damaged in three different fire incidents in the valley, police said on Friday afternoon.

Fire broke out in Government Primary School Tappar Pattan, Baramulla, resulting in damage to the school.

Meanwhile, fire broke out in a fruit shop of Bashir Ahmad Baba, resident of New colony Lalbazar, at Molvi stop Lalbazar, resulting in damage to the shop.

In another incident, fire broke out at village Chandrigam Ashmuqam, from a heap of hay, which engulfed a nearby building of Abdul Rehman Malik and Ghulam Ahmad Malik, residents of Chandrigam and residential house of Ghulam Hassan Wagay, resident of Chawalgam, resulting in damage to both the structures.

Fire was brought under control by fire tenders.

One Person Dies, One Injured In Road Accidents

One person died while another was injured in two separate road accidents in Srinagar and Kupwara, the police added.

In Srinagar, an I-10 car bearing registration number JK01T-8272 driven by Tariq Ahmad Kumar, resident of Rohmu Pulwama collided with a Scooty driven by Tariq Ahmad Khan, resident of Illahibag Soura, resulting in injuries to the Scooty driver.

The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.

In Kupwara, a Sumo bearing registration number JK02AB-5061 hit and injured a NCA Porter Abdul Gafoor Sheikh, resident of Hajitra Tangdar at Batpora Karnah.

The injured was shifted to Tanghdar Hospital for treatment.
