SRINAGAR
In order to address the grievances of general public, two senior officers of the Government shall attend the Winter Secretariat at Srinagar, an official statement said on Thursday.
According to a communication issued by the General Administration Department (GAD), Shailendra Kumar, Commissioner/Secretary, Tourism and Culture will be available in the Winter Secretariat from 27th to 30th January.
Similarly, Dr. Pawan Kotwal, Commissioner/Secretary, PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control will be in the winter capital from 2nd to 6th February, 2015.
“The officers have been asked by the Government to address the grievances of the general public during their stay at Srinagar and submit an action taken report on the complaints/issues dealt by them to the Governor’s Secretariat and GAD as well, reads the Government communiqué,” the statement said.
