2 Drug Peddlers Arrested in Srinagar: Police

SRINAGAR


Police arrested two drug peddlers at Parimpora and recovered 615 bottles of Codeine Phosphate from their possession, a statement said n Thursday.


Police established a naka at Parimpora and during the search police arrested two peddlers, Mudasir Ahmad Khan son of Nazir Khan, resident of Sherwani Colony Khawajbagh, Baramulla and Syed Tadris Qureshi son of Shafi resident of Lalbazar and recovered 615 bottles of Codeine Phosphate from them.


“It is 5th FIR registered against drug peddlers in this month. More than 10,000 tablets of Spasmoproximon and 815 bottles of banned medicine have been recovered so far from the peddlers,” police said.
