MLA-elect Ganderbal, Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar in a meet with Governor at Jammu on Wednesday.
Ishfaq Ahmad Sheikh, MLA-elect, Ganderbal, Wednesday called on NN Vohra, Governor, at the Raj Bhavan, Jammu.
“Sheikh brought to Governor’s notice several problems in his Constituency which include insufficient electricity and drinking water supply and certain issues relating to the Public Distribution Department. He also discussed with the Governor the to-date status of various ongoing developmental projects in his Constituency and the requirement of additional funds for carrying out further developmental activities in his area,” an official statement said.
The Governor wished the Legislator well and urged him to devotedly pursue the developmental issues relating to his Constituency, it added.
