SRINAGAR
Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, under Romeo Force, organised a blood donation and artificial limb camp at Gambhir village near LoC in Rajouri district, on Monday. An endeavour was made to extend better health care services and awareness in the area.
During this camp three artificial limbs were distributed to the differently abled locals by General Officer Commanding, Romeo Force. On the occasion a blood donation camp was also organised with the active co-operation from blood bank, District Hospital Rajouri. 40 units of blood were donated during the camp. A library equipped with 1000 books and magazines was also handed over to the Gambhir Government High School.
Meanwhile, 30 Rashtriya Rifles distributed free competitive study material among the students in Qaziabad area of North Kashmir’s Handwara town.
Continuing its effort under the project Sadhbhavana and took another step towards nation up-liftment by providing competitive books for library to Govt School Langate, Haril, Odura, Kalamchakla, Ashpura, Muqam, Udipura and Gundrajak of Qaziabad region. (CNS)
