Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has condemned the throat slitting of one Mohammad Yaqoob Wagay of Hajin on Friday.
The Chief Minister said the incident shows that perpetrators of the inhuman act have no respect for the Holy month of Ramadhan or the teachings of Islam.
Mehbooba Mufti has extended her sympathies to the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti also expressed shock and grief over the death of five persons in a road accident on Jammu-Kathua road today.
The Chief Minister has conveyed her sympathies to the families of those killed and prayed for their eternal solace.
