Jailed Hurriyat leader Shabir Shah’s daughter Sama Shah, a student at Delhi Public School (DPS) Athwajan has topped Jammu and Kashmir CBSE-2018 12th class results. Sama has secured 97.8 percent marks.

The results were declared on Saturday afternoon on the official website of the board. Public relation officer DPS said that around 160 students from their school have secured above 80 percent marks in the class 12th exams. Also, the school management and the staff have congratulated all the students for qualifying the exams with colorful marks.
DPS has also achieved the distinction of topping all CBSE affiliated schools of the state. The school has got 99.5 percent overall results in the exams.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the class 12 results on Saturday afternoon on the official website of the board.
The pass percentage has improved from last year’s 82.02 to 83.01 percent this year.
Shah is currently lodged in Tihar jail and has recently completed 31 years in prison. He is also famous as a prisoner of conscience.
