Police rescues kidnapped duo, arrests accused in Islamabad

Islamabad police on Thursday rescued the kidnapped teenagers from the clutches of a kidnapper from Kullar village of Islamabad.

The spokesman said that on May 29, 2018, Mohammad Zahir Mansoori, son of Mohammad Habib, resident of Shankirpora district Araia State Bihar, presently residing at Nagipora Kullar village of Islamabad lodged a written complaint stating that his son Mohammad Tawheed Mansoori, aged 14, years and his nephew Mohammad Mursheed Mansoori son of Mohammad Tajamul Mansoori, aged 15, years are missing from village Nagipora Kullar Tehsil Sallar Islamabad, since 26-05-2018.

Consequently, a missing report was lodged and a search to trace the missing duo started.

During the investigation, it came to surface that the missing teenagers were kidnapped by Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Shah, son of Amma Shah resident of Galander Pampore.

Subsequently, the accused person was traced and both the missing teenagers were recovered from him.

In this regard, a case FIR NO 17/2018 under section 363/RPC was registered in Police Station Pahalgam. After completing all legal formalities, the boys were handed over to their families. Further investigation into the matter is going on.
