An indigenous designer, Pureweave that introduced Kaftaan to Kashmir, inaugurated its second brand outlet in Lalchowk area of Srinagar on Wednesday.
Pureweave was established in 2013. It is an offshoot of Cashmere Marketing Industry owned by Dr A M Mir, former MD of State Industries.
Giving details, Managing Director of CMA group of industries – a holding company of Pureweave – Adil Mir said, “Ours being the first firm which is credited to have given Kashmir Kaftaan designs.”
Adil said, “our customers will have to just pay a single visit to our showroom and get the best designs of Kaftaan.”
Notably, Pureweave is the first Kashmir firm which only buys raw material from outside Kashmir and cutting and designing of the dresses in done at their industrial unit in uptown Srinagar at Rawalpora.
With state-of-art machinery, Pureweave has emerged as the indigenous Kashmiri brand.
“Made in Kashmir,” Adil asserted, “is what we believe in!”
