Family and relatives of Adil Ahmad Yadoo, who was crushed to death by a police vehicle in Chattabal, Srinagar on May 5, this year, held a protest demonstration in press enclave Srinagar on Monday and demanded an action against the accused police driver.
Adil’s family and relatives assembled outside press enclave in Srinagar demanding an action against the driver who crushed Aduil to death in Chattabal area during the clashes between government forces and protestors near the gunfight site in the area.

Family while demanding justice were holding placards that read, “We want justice,” “Punish the culprits.”
On May 05, As the news of encounter spread, hundreds of youngsters took to streets in parts of Srinagar and clashed with police and CRPF. The most intense clashes were reported from near the encounter site.
The gunfight in Chattabal was on and Adil Ahmad Yatoo was crushed to death by a police vehicle during the clashes near the gunfight site.
Pertinent to mention, a short video clip of the incident, which showed Adil being crushed by an armoured car during the clashes, had also gone viral on social media.
