Police on Wednesday recovered an unexploded shell at Lalpora area of Lolab in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Official sources said that a panic gripped at Aram Mohalla in Lalpora after the residents spotted the explosive device on the bank of a nallah in the area.
The locals immediately informed the concerned police station about it who immediately reached the spot along with the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS).
A police officer while confirming the incident said that the shell was later destroyed without causing any damage. (GNS)
