Srinagar
The Delhi High court notices an order issued on April 29, 2018, passed by the duty metropolitan magistrate that the petitioner has been remanded to police custody till May 17, 2018.
According to an order, the Prosecution has pleaded that the police was not aware that the petitioner had to give any exam from the FIR that has been read out in the court and a copy of which is enclosed with the petition, it appears that the complainants (a private firm) website were found hacked since March 27, 2018.
However, the FIR on the complaint (a copy of which was given to the police on April 20) was not registered till April 2018, at 12:30 hours.
Therefore it appears that for almost a month after its website was hacked, the complainant did file the complaint with the police.
In the circumstances, the court directs that for tomorrow’s examination on may 2nd, the petitioner will be taken from custody to the exam hall at the institute at Jalandhar and brought back by the police in custody as soon as the exam is over.
