Suspected militants attacked house of a legislators in South Kashmir on late Tuesday night.
Reports said that a grenade was hurled at the house of Advocate Muhammad Yousuf Bhat. Bhat, a sitting PDP MLA, represents Shopian in legislative assembly.
Bhat’s house was attacked by protestors in August as well.
“Bhat was not present in his house,” sources said, “there was no casualty.”
However, sources added that the grenade blast damaged window panes of the Bhat’s residence.
Some days, suspected militants opened fire on the residence of Syed Bashir Ahmad, ex-MLA who represented Rajpora in assembly.
