#Day88: Forces Resort To Aerial Firing To Break Bandipora Protests

SRINAGAR

An arm convoy was attacked by protestors with stones in North Kashmir’s Bandipora on Wednesday morning. They forces in retaliation resorted to aerial firing.

Reports reaching here said that the forces opened fire to disperse the protestors in Gulshan Chowk.

“Youths pelted stones at an army convoy in Gulshan Chowk area of the district,” a news report said.

The reports said that army men came down from their vehicles and resorted to aerial firing. Meanwhile, police and CRPF resorted to teargas shelling to break up the protests.

The clashes between forces and protestors were still going when last reports came in.
