Two unknown persons resorted to aerial firing in Kulgam’s Chawalgam market on Thursday.
Local sources said that two masked gun yielding persons came in a vehicle which stopped in main Chawalgam Market.
“They resorted to aerial firing creating panic among people,” sources said.
Soon after the men fired bullets in air, the shops were instantly closed and people fled for safety. There were no reports of any casualty when last reports came in.
Sources said the hundreds of men have been rushed to the area and search operation has been launched.
