Nine Persons Injured In Road Mishaps

Nine persons were injured in different road accident across Kashmir valley Sunday, police said.

In Kulgam, a Tavera vehicle bearing registration number JK02AJ-1023 collided with a Truck bearing registration number JK02L-6245 at Nepora near petrol pump, Qazigund, resulting in injuries to Farman Malik, Shazad Ahmad Malik and Mst. Tarno residents of UP. All the injured were shifted to District Hospital Islamabad for treatment.

In Awantipora, an I-10 car bearing registration number JK18-7876 collided with Tanker bearing registration number JK01Q-8499 at Chandhara Crossing Pampore, resulting in injuries to Gousia, Mehra Begum, Nissar Ahmad Wani residents of Kawaki Bazar Qaimoh and Amir Ahmad Bhat resident of Kulgam. All the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Pampore for treatment.

Meanwhile, a Scooty bearing registration number JK13C-4491 driven by Suhail Ahmad Malik resident of Konibal Pampore met with an accident at JKEDI Pampore, resulting in injuries to the rider and a pedestrian Abdul Qayoom Sheikh resident of Lalpora Chatlam, Pampore. Both the injured were shifted to SMHS hospital, Srinagar for treatment.
