Hizb Chief Pays Tributes to Lassa Khan

Hizb-ul-Mujahideen chief, Syed Salah-ud-Din Sunday paid tributes to Lassa Khan of Sondbarie village of Kokernag area of Anantnag district who passed away on Saturday.

In a statement issued to KNS, Salah-ud-din called Khan as the “shining pillar of freedom struggle who sacrificed his sons in this struggle but didn’t lose courage.”

“Khan had sent a message to me through a militant informing me that he had lost everything and now it is our responsibility to not allow anyone to sell these sacrifices,” Salah-ud-din said.

Lassa Khan’s three sons and a nephew – militants at different times were killed by forces, while his younger son and another nephew were killed for being brothers of the militants, reports said.

The Hizb chief said that the sacrifices given by Khan’s family will not get wasted. Hizb prayed for Lassa Khan and his sons, nephews who were killed at different times. (KNS)
