KL Report

SRINAGAR

Class XI students of Kashmir Division appearing in the exam were shocked on Thursday when their Kashmiri paper turned out to be extremely erroneous. The paper setter according to students and Kashmiri known scholars had committed at least 87 mistakes and the students were unable to grasp what was written on the paper.

“The Kashmiri paper left students completely flummoxed. Students were even seen breaking into tears at most examination centers,” said a Kashmiri lecturer to CNS adding that despite showing the flawed question paper to Board of School Examination, the authorities did not take any note of blunders in the question paper.

Reports said that hundreds of students assembled at BOSE office located at Bemina, however according to students Secretary Bose Veena Pandita was not present there.

When contacted Secretary BOSE Professor Veena Pandita advised the aggrieved students to handover a written application to Joint Secretary BOSE. “We will definitely do justice to these students,” she said adding that she had left for Jammu on Thursday that is why she did not met the aggrieved students.
