Two Infiltration Bids Foiled on IB

KL Report

SRINAGAR

Border security force (BSF) troops on Wednesday foiled two infiltration bids by suspected militants on the international border (IB) in Samba and Kathua districts of the Jammu region, sources said.

They said that BSF troops noticed suspicious movements by some persons in the wee hours near two of its border outposts on the international border in Samba and Kathua districts.

They added, “Alert troops fired at the suspicious persons forcing them to retreat back.”

After the attacks on a police station in Kathua and an army camp in Samba districts last week authorities have sounded high alert all along the international border and the line of control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.
