SRINAGAR
The Metrology department has issued a weather warning for March 28 to April 4 in Jammu and Kashmir, reports said.
They added that Western Disturbances in quick succession is likely to affect J&K and adjoining area from Saturday evening to April 4.
According to the MeT department moderate to heavy rainfall will occur at most places in Kashmir & Jammu regions and at a few places in Ladakh region. Snowfall has been forecasted in the higher altitudes.
As per the MeT department heavy rain/snow is expected in almost all parts of the state mainly on March 29 and April 3.
The weather system may disrupt surface and air transport during above periods.
