SRINAGAR
A division bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Madan B. Lokur and Justice U.U. Lalit Friday directed the Advocate-General of J&K Government to provide status report to the court regarding the distribution of relief to the flood victims in J&K, reports said.
Supreme Court was hearing a writ petition filed by J&K National Panthers Party and others for the distribution of equitable relief in cash and kind to the victims of floods and rain in Jammu and Kashmir in September, 2014.
Supreme Court granted four weeks to the Jammu and Kashmir government to file its status report.
