Govt orders continuance of prepaid mobile services for two more years

SRINAGAR

Amid threat of floods, there is good news for prepaid mobile subscribers of Jammu and Kashmir. Government of India Monday decided to give the nod for continuance of pre-paid services for two more years from April 1, 2015.

Besides Jammu and Kashmir, the order would also be implemented in North East states of India.

Pertinently the the licence of the telecom operators for providing prepaid services in these areas expires on March 31, 2015.
