Bhartya Janta Party (BJP) general secretary Ram Madhav met the chief minister Jammu and Kashmir Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and discussed the issues especially emerged after the release of Hurriyat leader Masarat Alam Bhat.
Sources said that Mufti and Madhav talked in detail about “a better coordination between the alliance partners.”
Madhav, who negotiated the deal with PDPs Dr Haseeb Drabu for forging an alliance to rule the J&K, met Mufti late last night at his residence in Jammu, sources said.
The meeting, according to sources is significant in view of the “differences” between BJP and PDP over Masarat’s release.
Masarat was released from sub jail Baramulla after four and a half years on March 7.
Sources said that Mufti and Madhav discussed various issues to ensure that coalition is run in a close coordination.
