Army resorts to aerial firing after protestors pelt them with stones in Shopian village

Government forces on Thursday evening resorted to aerial firing after some youth pelted stones on their vehicle in Dabalpora Watchi village of district Shopian.

Reports said that the youth of the area assembled and pelted government forces with stones; the forces resorted to aerial firing due to which dozens of the shopping complexes were damaged.

During the clashes some local residents were also beaten by the goverment forces, reports claimed.
