Fire breaks out in a old city locality

A massive fire broke out in Nowpora area of Srinagar on Saturday afternoon.

An official from the fire and emergency department said that fire broke out in a residential house near Mamta Hotel Nowpora area of Srinagar.

However, the fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames, he said.

The official added that cause of the fire is yet ascertained.
