Clashes broke out between the protestors and government forces over nocturnal raids conducted by government forces on Saturday.
Reports said people of the area hit the streets on Saturday morning to demand the release of arrested persons. The protesters also blocked the Soura road, hampered the traffic movement for hours.
An official from the police department confirmed the incident, adding that they have arrested one youth from the area.
