Unidentified gunmen shot dead a Special police officer (SPO) in Murran chowk area of Pulwama district of south Kashmir.
The deceased was identified as Special police official (SPO) Mohammad Ashraf resident Machpona area of Pulwama.
Official sources said that the injured was referred to District Hospital Pulwama where he succumbed, they said adding a massive hunt has been launched to nab the attackers.
