Hurriyat Conference (m) chairperson Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Monday paid glowing tributes to late journalist’s Khawja Sanaullah Bhat and Sufi Ghulam Muhammad on their death anniversaries.
Mirwaiz said that both of them were the pioneers of journalism in Kashmir and their contribution to its growth and development in Jammu and Kashmir is immense.
In a statement, Mirwaiz said their in-depth understanding of political and social issues facing the people and the manner in which they portrayed it, shows both their literary capabilities and their close connect with the people especially the common masses.
Mirwaiz said people of Kashmir will always remember these great sons of the soil with respect and affection.
