Legislative Assembly Speaker: Kavinder Gupta
Speaker Kavinder Gupta adjourned the Lower House of J&K Legislature sine die.
The 2016-17 Budget session commenced on May 25 with Governor’s address at SKICC.
The session witnessed 32 working days.
The speaker informed that 211 main questions were taken up during this session while 611 supplementaries were answered.
The Speaker said that 61 hours 32 minutes were consumed in these days.
Kavinder Gupta thanked his deputy, Nazir Ahmad Khan Gurezi, who ran the hous ein his absence.
Chief Minister, Ms Mehbooba Mufti, was the last Lawmaker to speak in the house.
