Peerzada Ghulam Jeelani (Left)
Former member of Jammu and Kashmir Constituent Assembly, Peerzada Ghulam Jeelani, breathed his last on Monday evening. He was 95.
According to close family sources, Nimaz-i-Jinazah of late Jeelani will be held on Tuesday at 10 in the morning at Khankah Shah-i-Hamdan (RA).
Late Jeelani active political life extended almost thirty years. He represented Pampore constituency in Legislative Assembly thrice as National Conference Lawmaker.
He was also a member of House of Elders, later. He had a brief stint in Indian National Congress as well.
