Kashmir Constructional Workers Union Friday strongly condemned the alleged thrashing of Gulzar Ahmad, Assistant Labour Commissioner,(ALC) Ganderbal in his office chambers by one Ayaz Afzal, who is son of PDP leader Qazi Afzal.
Terming the incident as unfortunate and uncalled for, KCWU in a statement issued here today said such hooliganism in any civilized society is not acceptable and those responsible must be identified and punished as per the law of the land.
KCWU reiterated its demand for immediate release of scholarship and financial assistance due to the wards of labour class pending since 2014.
