To ensure the safety of people state Police in its drive against the traffic violators, challaned 13472 vehicles and seized 1952 vehicles in last two weeks of this month across the valley.
According to a police statement, the vehicles, which were challanend during this period included 3501 two wheelers and 8019 four wheelers. “During the drive, action was taken against 3060 people for not wearing crash helmets and 5481 people who were found not wearing the seat belts,” the statement said.
