One person was killed in a sudden rainstorm in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Friday evening, reports said.
“The cloudburst has occurred in Chanz area near Doodhpatri tourist place in Budgam this evening. One person has been killed,” Deputy Commissioner of Budgam Altaf Ahmad Mir was quoted as having said.
He was yet to be identified. “Our teams have reached the area and are monitoring the situation. We are still awaiting details,” he adde.
