On Saturday, National Conference bigwigs on Srinagar’s street with a protest march against Mufti Muhammad Sayeed Govt’s New Job policy.

Among the protesters were NC General Secretary and MLA Khanyar, Ali Muhammad Sagar, MLA Eidgarh and erstwhile JK Assembly Speaker, Mubarak Gul, Nasir Aslam Wani and others.

Holding placard—“Anti Youth, Anti People Policy, Down Down”—modest NC support group turned up at Regal where Sagar delivered an address castigating Mufti Govt for “anti youth” job policy.

Significantly, the new dispensation is being cornered for its New Recruitment Policy, with political parties and religious organisations termed it “highly anti youth”.

Even J-K Governor NN Vohra had his issues with the new job policy.

Amid mounting political row, Govt has hinted: “There is no question to roll back the job policy.”

Meanwhile at Regal, NC supporters also burnt PDP’s flag in protest against the policy.
