Police have started investigation to ascertain the cause of the death of an 18 year old boy who was found hanged in Beerwah area.
“An 18-year old boy Javid Ahmad Hajam son of Abdul Samad resident of Hajam Mohalla, Check Marg was found hanged from a walnut tree at Check Marg Beerwah, Budgam,” a poilce statement said.
The police party rushed to the spot and started the investigation under section 174 CrPC to ascertain the cause of his death. After completing all medico-legal formalities the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites, the statement added.
