Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, Thursday approved release of Rs 91.50 crore under Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for the current financial year in respect of 89 Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) and 33 Members of Legislative Council (MLCs).
Orders to this effect were issued by the Government here today, an official statement said.
The amount released, which is 50% of the total entitlement of CDF, will be placed at the disposal of the concerned District Development Commissioners for execution and completion of developmental works, as identified by the MLA / MLC for the year 2015-16.
