Soldiers Stab An Afridi Supporter: Reports

KL Report

Police in Gulmarg is reported to have registered a case and arrested three soldiers and their two civilian accomplices for stabbing a fellow colleague who was celebrating over Shahid Afridi leading Pakistan to victory against India in Asia Cup, Sunday night. The injured is admitted in a Srinagar hospital and is recovering.

Reports suggest there was a tiff between various people watching the match in Jawahar Lal Nehru Institute of Mountaineering and Winter Sports. They were supportive of both the sides.

After Pakistan managed to win a visibly-difficult match, it irked three soldiers and their two accomplices. They stabbed Muhammad Yousuf Reshi, a resident of Doda district. The incident led to police intervention that has reportedly registered a case and the injured was rushed to Srinagar for treatment.
