10 injured in road accidents

Ten persons were injured in different road traffic accidents across the valley, police said on Sunday.


An I-10 car vehicle bearing registration chassis number 0910 collided with an auto load carrier bearing registration number JK03C/8447 at KP road, in Mattan Islamabad. In this accident two persons were injured. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.


In another accident, a Tata sumo bearing registration number JK05A/5494 hit a Motorcycle driven by Kifayat Ahmad son of Mohammad Yousuf bearing registration number Jk01M/2294 at Nowgam, in. Motorcyclist and pillon Zahoor Ahmad son of Mohammad Ibrahim residents of Chaker Budgam got injured. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.


Meanwhile, a bus bearing registration number JK03/8001 collided with an Alto bearing registration number JK01J/0793 near Petrol pump Sheeri, in Baramulla. Four passengers who were boarding in Alto car received injuries. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.


In another accident, a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK04A/8575 skidded off the road at Batergam, in Kupwara. The motorcyclist Javid Ahmad Khan son of Ahmad Khan and his pillon Showkat Ahmad Dar residents of Aawoora were injured in the mishap. Both the injured were injured to Sub District Hospital Kupwara for treatment.
