CHADOORA
A complete shutdown was observed in Chadoora town of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district against the cold-blooded murder of youth whose body was recovered by police from an open paddy field in Chadoora.
Meanwhile, police has apprehended a youth in connection with the murder and police said that investigation is going on fast track.
Police recovered the body of Mudasir Ahmad Rather son of Fateh Muhammad resident of Hard-u-Divan, Cherari-Sharief with multiple marks of violence on Monday.
Station House Officer Chadoora, Arshid Ahmed said that a person identified as Muhammad Yaseen Itoo son of Abdul Jabar has been arrested in connection with this murder case and more arrests are expected. He said that police is investigating the case and it is not yet clear what the motive behind the murder of this youth was.
Police has registered a case vide FIR number 34/2014 under section 302 in this regard.
A complete shutdown was observed in the town against the murder and people demanded immediate arrests of the killers. All the shops and business establishments remained close while traffic was off the roads.
