One JCB driver got injured near Salamabad in North Kashmir on Wednesday when a shooting stone hit his machine. The injured driver has been identified as Parlok Chand Singh, who was clearing the landslide hit Srinagar-Muzaffarabad road for the movement.
Due to bad weather conditions, the road is closed for the vehicular movement for past two days. Many trucks have been stalled near the NS Bridge.
“Some 21 truckloads of fruits are stalled,” informed a local from Salamabad. “These vehicles were coming from Muzaffarabad to Srinagar.” He said some vehicles were cleared for movement on Tuesday.
