Class work: All colleges open on Monday excepting SP, MP school

SRINAGAR: This season, the state government is drafting the ‘calendar’, at least of the academic spaces in Kashmir. Almost on daily basis, authorities make forecasting and then decide if the schools should open, a system copied from the separatist block.

On Monday, authorities said, all colleges and higher secondary schools will have normal class work. Buit the two exceptions are there: SP School and the MP School.

In last 36 days of student unrest that started from Pulwama in reaction to a police raid on the college, the higher secondary schools and the colleges have remained locked for most of the 19 days, so far. In certain areas, the school management has been permitting classes in turns so that lot many students do not assemble in the premises at any given point of time.
