Bus driver suffers heart attack during transit; bumps vehicle to a rock; passengers safe

A driver saved the lives of over 40 passengers minutes before he died of cardiac arrest in Poonch district.

“Following uneasiness due to chest discomfort, the driver of a bus on way to Kalaban from Mendhar deliberately dashed the vehicle against a rock near Chuggan,” police said.

“Had he not acted swiftly, the vehicle could have plunged into a 300-feet deep gorge,” police added. He was rushed to the hospital but declared as brought dead, police said.
