Intense clashes erupted between civilians and forces in Chadoora town of Budgam district after forces lifted siege from the town.

Earlier, forces had laid a siege to the town after inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Reports reaching here said that youth pelted stones on forces while they were withdrawing from the area.
Forces used massive tear smoke shells to disperse the civilian protesters.
