Director urban local bodies Kashmir on Thursday placed 13 employees of Municipal Committee Pampore under suspension for their unauthorized absence from duties.
Officials said that during his surprise visit to the office the Director made an extensive tour of the Saffron town and took stock of ongoing developmental works.
The director expressed his displeasure over the poor management of solid waste and asked the executive officer of the Municipality to improve the sanitation standards in Pampore immediately.
